What is Smart Assessor?
Smart Assessor is an e-portfolio that helps you keep track of your apprenticeship work and progress. It makes your apprenticeship easier to manage and helps everyone involved. It’s like your digital folder where you can:
Track Your Progress
You can see exactly where you are in your apprenticeship journey. Smart Assessor shows you which parts of your qualification(s) you've completed, what’s in progress, and what still needs to be done. This helps you stay on top of things so you can plan ahead.
Record Off-the-Job Training
One of the key parts of your apprenticeship is Off-the-Job training. You can log and track these hours in Smart Assessor, whether you’ve done a course, shadowed someone, attended a workshop, or studied independently. It keeps everything clear and helps prove you’re meeting your apprenticeship requirements.
Upload Evidence Easily
As you complete tasks or projects at work, you’ll need to show evidence of what you've done. You can upload photos, videos, documents directly to Smart Assessor. It keeps everything organised and in one place for your assessor to review.
Receive Feedback
Your tutor or assessor will review your work and leave feedback directly on Smart Assessor. This helps you understand how you’re doing and what you can improve. It’s also where they’ll mark off parts of your qualification as you complete them.
Manage Meetings and Reviews
You’ll have regular reviews with your assessor and employer to talk about your progress. Smart Assessor lets you book and track these meetings. You can also see when deadlines or tasks are coming up.
