Year 7
Year 7 music introduces learners to the fundamentals of music making. Learning covers the basics of ukulele/guitar playing and singing, and exploring making music on different instruments. These skills are then applied by working collaboratively to write and perform an original song. Taonga Pūoro and music from New Zealand are studied. Learners are challenged to create short compositions using technology and their knowledge of musical elements.
