Year 10 - Compulsory

Year 10 Social Studies encourages students to take part in a changing society as confident, informed and responsible people. Social Studies provides opportunities for individual achievement and the development of a range of skills relevant to a variety of different subjects at senior levels.

Course Focus

All of these topics include global and national issues

Having a Say (History) - a study of human rights, past issues and contemporary issues
The Changing Nature of Work (Economics) - a study of the types of work people do and changes over time
Getting a Share (Geography) - a study of factors that influence sustainability and access to resources

Course Contribution: $25 indicative amount, may be subject to change.

Field trips, guest speakers.
