Te Reo Māori

Year 8 Languages is made up of four modules designed to developing the students understanding of Māori Language and Tikanga.

Course Focus

• Te Reo Māori - building on the language skills that were learned in Year 7
• understanding of Matariki - continuing to focus is on researching and exploring traditional and contemporary events and creations
• Te Reo Māori - with a focus on how to communicate ideas about contemporary art and artists
• kai - researching and learning various phrases in regards to food
