The Year 7 programme introduces students to some key themes that are found in the six strands of the Anglican Schools' Curriculum. These are: The Bible and Jesus; Christian Doctrine and Worship; Church History; World Religions; Ethics, Morals and Values; Personal Faith and Philosophical Issues
- introduction to journaling as a spiritual practice
- exploration of symbols of different religions and the creation of personal symbols
- investigation of the Easter story as found in the gospels
- consideration of various artistic and cultural representations of the person of Jesus
- exploration of the chapel and also the meaning of Eucharist in preparation for the Easter Eucharist service
- investigation of the history of the Anglican church in New Zealand
