Music

Year 10 Music builds on Year 9 Music and introduces students to a broad range of musical skills and knowledge. Students will be learning about a variety of performance and composition skills and techniques, with multiple opportunities to apply these throughout the year in both individual and group contexts. Basic recording and music technology skills are taught and used for compositions. Students also study about music in different contexts, music theory, and listening skills.

Year 10 Music is a full year option course. It is designed to give students a broad range of musical skills and knowledge and prepare them for NCEA Level 1 Music.
