Beetle Blocks is a cool program that helps us to start understanding how to code. When you code, you are basically giving very exact directions to the computer. In Beetle Blocks, you practice by telling a little beetle character where to go. The beetle can travel in three directions - forward/backwards, left/right, and up/down.
On the y-axis the beetle move forwards/backwards.
On the x-axis the beetle moves left/right.
On the z-axis the beetle moves up/down.
Right now, the beetle is facing the the x-axis. If I tell the beetle to move 3 spaces, it will move along the x-axis and end up 3 spaces to the right of where it is now.
If I tell the beetle to move -3 spaces, it will move 3 spaces to the left;
Watch the video below for a quick tutorial on how to to use the program and control the beetle.
