Lesson 3 - Designing your Perfect Pet

Today we want to make a sketch of our Perfect Pet that is close to the actual size. Beging by folding a piece of paper in half - this is about how much material you will have to work with. Remember, you need to add light components and stuffing, so you want to give yourself enough room for that and any other details. Using as much of your 1/2 sheet of paper as possible is usually a good idea.

You've sketch your pet before, but now you really want to get all the details. Begin your design in pencil. When you feel confident that you have the basic shape, you can ink in the outline,

Then think about the details. Do the details in pencil first. You may choose to color some parts in once you have them set.

Then add the final details using the colors you think you will want to use.
