Lesson 2: Designing your backbox

Today we will focus on the design for the backbox (sign) for your pinball machine. This part of the machine is mostly about grabbing attention and sharing the theme of the machine. Watch the video below for more info.

Sample pencil sketch below, observe the guidelines made with a ruler. Making guidelines helps with lettering.

Sample colored sketch below. Bold and bright works well for a pinball game.

Today's Tasks:

• Use 1/2 a piece of plain white paper.

• Sketch in pencil the design for your backbox. Focus on bold lettering and clean design,

• Color in your design. Focus on 4-5 colors that will bring your theme to life.
