Last time we talked about how 3rd graders learn best. A tried and true method for help 3rd graders grasp complicated content is to break the learning down into stations. We will probably want 5-6 stations. Some stations will be for essential content. Students will have approximately 5 minutes at each station.
Understanding the 3 levels of government.
Understanding the mayor/mayor's office.
Understanding the board of supervisors.
Other stations can be more open to helping third grades really think about how this essential content works. What ideas do you have for other stations?
