Our first semester we will be building interactive journals. We are living history right now as we learn and live during this panademic. It is important for all of us to take time to think, reflect, and feel. The best way I know how to do this is by creating. We will be using pop-up book techniques, flaps, levers, art, and paper circuits to build an interactive and artistic record of Fall 2020. My hope is to share a collection of a work with the California State Library as part of their California Covid Diaries initiative.
I placed a paper bag of supplies in your work bins. In it you should find pretty much everything you need for this project. You may use the scissors and ruler for other school related tasks, but please do not use any of the other items for anything but our work on the Pop-Up Journal project. See the video below for more information about your supplies.
