During our academic pinwheel classes we will have technology lessons. We'll start the year with learning what we need to know about our computers and the digital tools we will need for school this year. Once we've mastered that, we'll move on to some of the more creative uses for technology, dipping our toes into digital design, coding, and perhaps some work with microcontrollers.
Goals of 3rd Grade Technology Study:
Understand the ways that technology can help us learn.
Understand the ways in which technology can hurt our learning.
Become fluent in a number of tech tools that allow us to express our ideas.
Understand how to be responsible consumers of our digital world.
Understand how to be responsible contributors to our digital world.
