The subject of my creation is a picture I took of Harrison fishing on the dock at my Island house. To create this, first I printed off my picture I wanted to use in black and white, then I gridded it using a 1 to 1 grid and then I followed my grid to make sure my picture was proportionate. I used different tools to scratch the black away to match the values of the picture. I chose to draw this picture because It is one of my favorite pictures because it is his silhouette against the sun set. I scratched more black away to show the highlights and values of the picture. My picture evolved because at first I had unrealistic waves and no fishing rod and some messed up scratches. I added to the waves and painted on a fishing pole and over the scratches. This project related to my life because it reminds me of summer nights on the Island. Something I wish I did better was making it look more realistic.
