The Halloween spirit is on display at RAHS as many students and staff have taken the school day to express their creativity and spirit with costumes. Even though RAHS doesn’t have a specific Halloween costume contest or party, brave knights, skeletons, 6-7’s, muppets, and more were not afraid to show their true colors.
“I feel like I wanted to celebrate because Halloween is my favorite holiday and I wanted to show some school spirit,” said Hal LeMaster ‘28, a member of Student Council who wore black and orange. Ruby Baker ‘27 said she dressed as a fae to show her spirit and “because it is fun.”
Some of the most notable costumes included the Math Department dressing as the 6-7 meme, the Science Department dressing as muppets and members of the English Department wearing witch costumes. Students sported a variety of costumes ranging from spooky to playful. Regardless of the style, it has been a fun, festive day at school today.
