Friday, Nov. 21, Division 3 State Football Championship Game
Where: Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, WI
When: 10:00AM
What: The Beavers look to win the Division 3 State football championship as they square off against Grafton. With a day off of school, a massive Reedsburg contingent will descend on Camp Randall for the grand finale to an incredible season. The team will return to school by 3PM and the community is invited to RAHS to celebrate the team when they return!
Open Weekend For Hunting
Where: State of Wisconsin
When/What: The 9 day gun deer season opens up this weekend. This is an exciting time for lots of RAHS students and families. We wish everyone good luck with the hunt!
Packers vs. Vikings
Where: Lambeau Field
When: Noon
What: A huge divisional game against the rival Vikings. The Packers need to find some consistency on offense if they are going to challenge in the NFC. Hopefully this weekend will show they are making strides in the right direction.

Jack’s Weekend Update Oct. 17-19

1. Saturday, Oct. 18th: Halloween Mystery Candlelight Hike
Where: Mirror Lake State Park
When: Saturday 6pm-8pm
What: Fun hike around a torchlit trail at Mirror Lake. When walking you will find clues to who the special guest will be. While not on the trail, you and your friends can grab a hot chocolate and smores to roast around a campfire.
2. Sunday, Oct. 19th: Reedsburg Community Market
Where: Community Market Pavillion by Webb Park
When: Sunday 9am-1pm
What: Have nothing to do this Sunday? Go check out the Community Market by Webb Park. Plenty of fresh grown produce and delicious food for sale. This is the last week the Community Market will be up this year so go before it’s gone.
3. Friday, Oct 17th: Brewers vs. Dodgers NLCS Game Four
Where: Brewers are on the road against the Dodgers

Homecoming week at RAHS has energized the students and staff alike. As the week is ending many people’s focus is on tonight’s big Football game against Sparta. Spirits are high and the team is ready to get a win. Wisconsin sports fans will also have an eventful weekend preparing to watch their Milwaukee Brewers chase the win against their rival Cubs. And of course RAHS students are ready to head to the dance this Saturday night at 8. Whether you’ve got a date or are going with your friends, everyone is sure to have a great night.
1. Saturday, October 11: Brewers vs. Cubs, Game 5
Where: Milwaukee
When: 7:08 p.m. Saturday
What: With a forty three year World Series drought and a recent history of early playoff exits, Brewers fans were thrilled when their home team put up a franchise regular season record of 97 wins along with securing the one seed in the National League. Claiming wins with early inning explosions of runs in game one and two against division rival Cubs got the fans even more pumped up. But as the Cubs evened the series up last night at 2 games a piece Brewers fans are looking ahead to this Saturday’s game five back at their home field. Fans are ready to bring the energy to will their team to their first NLCS since 2018.
2. Friday, Oct. 10: Reedsburg vs. Sparta Homecoming Game
Where: RAHS Football Field
When: 7:00 p.m. tonight
What: After a heartbreaker in LaCrosse last weekend the Friday Night Lights are going to be amped up for tonight’s homecoming bout vs. Sparta. It is Homecoming and people are fired up for this one. Sparta’s offense features a strong running back so the Beavers will need to be ready to shut him down. Fans, bring your “A” Game!
3. Saturday, Oct. 11: RAHS Homecoming Dance
Where: RAHS Commons
When: 8-11PM Saturday
What: This is a no brainer. Get your date, grab your friends and get down to the dance! It’s $10 to get in and you’ll need your school ID for entrance. Don’t be caught standing in the corner - get out on the floor and get your groove on with your best moves.

With another week in the books, a beautiful fall weekend is right around the corner. For our new "Weekend Guide" feature, student reporter Jack Meyer has compiled a list of the top events happening for the RAHS community.
From a crucial road game for the football team to a home volleyball tournament and local fun, his list has something for everyone.
1. Friday, Oct. 3: Reedsburg @ La Crosse Logan Football Game
Where: La Crosse Logan High School
When: 7:00 p.m. tonight
What: It's a big game for the boys tonight vs. Logan. The Beavers are in the thick of their challenging conference schedule and hoping to score a win in La Crosse after falling to Central by just a point a few weeks ago. Let’s go Beavers!
2. Saturday, Oct. 4: Girls Varsity Volleyball Tournament
Where: Reedsburg Area High School
When: 10:00 a.m.
What: Come out and support the girls as they face off against squads like Fort Atkinson, Westby, and Viroqua. The team is rounding into form as it prepares for the end of conference play and tournament time, and they’d appreciate your support. Stop by for some great volleyball action!
3. Saturday, Oct. 4: Live Music at the 1924 Bar and Grill
Where: Reedsburg Country Club
When: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
What: Looking for a fun date spot? Enjoy chill vibes, great food, and no cover charge. Keep the summer spirit alive while enjoying the great weather with excellent local, live music on the patio.
4. Saturday, Oct. 4: S’more Fun Trail Run
Where: Mirror Lake State Park
When: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
What: With the leaves changing, it’s the perfect time to get out and enjoy nature on the 30 miles of trails at Mirror Lake. The official S’more Fun Trail Run offers a race vibe, but you can also just go for a hike anytime to get some exercise.
5. Sunday, Oct. 5: Reedsburg Community Market
Where: Community Market Pavilion by Webb Park
When: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
What: Support local vendors and farmers this Sunday. It's a great way to enjoy fresh, locally grown produce and get into the fall spirit.
