Inducted Fall 2025
Q: What is your name and what sport(s) did you play?
A: Matt Lennon- I played football and baseball for Reedsburg and I also play hockey for the Madison Capitals AAA program.
Q: What was your favorite memory from your playing days from each of the sports you played?
A: For my football career the easy answer would be winning the state championship in 2009 my junior year and that arguably is #1 but another one would be the game before the state championship where we ended up winning on a last second touchdown to send us to the state championship.
For my baseball career it would be making it to state in 2011my senior year. Even tho the game in state didn’t end up how we wanted it to to be one of a handful of teams in Reedsburg history to make it to state for baseball was an absolute honor.
For my hockey career even tho it wasn’t played in Reedsburg I would say it was making it to the regional championship in 2008 my sophomore year and falling just short on a trip to Nationals.
Q: What was your favorite sport to play if you played more than one?
A: I get asked this question a lot and even still to this day. It’s a tough answer and I don’t have a great answer. I would say whatever season I was in that was my favorite sport. I feel multi sports growing up is the way to go to not get bogged down in the same routine/sport.
Q: What were your most important statistics(if you remember)?
A: As a team perspective the most important statistics would be state football runner up in 2008, state championship in football in 2009, and state qualifier for baseball in 2011. As in individual getting elected into the Reedsburg Hall of Fame was a dream come true for myself and my family. I held three football records going into this season (most points in a career, most touchdowns in a career, and most touchdowns in a season) and Will Mikonowicz surpassed these records this year during the amazing season he had as an individual and as a team as a whole.
Q:What is your life like now?
A: I am currently living in La Crosse WI with my wife Sarah (2011 RAHS Graduate) our 7 month old son Vincent and our dog Milo.
Q: Do you/do you wish you still played your sport and why?
A: I am currently not playing any of the sports that I participated in high school. I was fortunate enough to go on and play hockey and baseball at the NCAA Division 3 level for Northland College. After college I was also fortunate to play for the Reedsburg Pirates the Home Talent baseball league in Reedsburg.
Q: What is your name and what sport(s) did you play?
A: My Name is Mason McMillen and I played Football, Wrestling, and Baseball
Q: What was your favorite memory from your playing days from each of the sports you played?
A: Football- My favorite memory from football was kicking a game winning field goal in overtime against Portage. The game ended in a 3-0 victory for the Beavers and was a complete muddy mess as rain poured down all game. This was also my senior night and homecoming night which made it just a little extra special.
Wrestling- My favorite memory from Wrestling was winning a state title my senior year. There were so many moments that went into accomplishing this feat, but being able to share it with my family and teammates was a truly special moment.
Baseball- I had a lot of great memories from baseball, but many of them come from when I was younger in little league. We made it to state multiple years and had a great group of guys that couldn't get enough. In between games we would be playing wiffleball, pull-ball, or baseball in the pool. We were a close-knit team that probably got into too much trouble in the hotels we stayed in.
Q: What was your favorite sport to play if you played more than one?
A: Wrestling was my favorite sport and the one I continued in college.
Q: What were your most important statistics(if you remember)?
A: One of the seasons the team had a contest for fastest pin. The record started at 20 seconds, and I ended up winning the contest with a 7 or 8 second pin.
Q:What is your life like now?
A: I currently live near Des Moines, Iowa and work as a Parks & Rec Director for the City of Carlisle. I also am an assistant coach for the Carlisle Wrestling program. I also recently just got married in October of 2025!
Q: Do you/do you wish you still played your sport and why?
A: As much as I enjoy wrestling, I love to still be able to coach and help inspire the next generation of athletes. I get to still wrestle at times, but my body doesn't hold up like it used to after 18 years of competitive wrestling. I also do not miss the hard weight cuts!
