IB Courses at Westwood are taught with the IB Approaches to Teaching and Learning as guiding principles. Please read more below about what you can expect to experience in an IB course at Westwood. In 9th grade and 10th grade, the IB Prep Human Geography and IB Prep US History/AP US History courses model these approaches. All IB courses in 11th and 12th grade will also use these approaches.
All IB teachers are trained through IB in their respective courses and we meet regularly to continue to grow and develop our IB courses and discuss implementation of the IB Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
