ABOUT WESTWOOD IBPA:
The Westwood High School International Baccalaureate Parent Association (the “WHS IBPA”) is a volunteer parent and alumni advisory, advocacy, fundraising and program support group for the Westwood High School IB Diploma Program (the “WHS IBDP”).
The WHS IBDP was established in 1996, graduating its first students in 1998. Over the years, the WHS IBDP has established itself as one of the finest open enrollment public IB World Schools in Texas. WHS IBDP graduates consistently score highly on their IB exams and secure admissions to the finest universities in the US and overseas.
WHS IBPA MISSION:
Our purpose is to assist in maximizing the WHS IB experience for all members of the IB Community – students, parents, faculty and administration – thereby facilitating the achievement of the IB Program’s goals. The WHS IBPA is primarily intended for parents of WHS Pre-IB, IB and IB Diploma Program graduates. However, any other interested parties may join the IBPA including faculty and students.
