Bird's Eye

A bird's-eye view is an elevated view of an object from above, with a perspective as though the observer were a bird. As a photographer, you can stand on a chair, a table or a ladder and look down at what you what to photograph. You could stand on a deck, look out a second floor window, or even down a stairwell. Your goal is to be looking down at your focal point. Consider centering your main focal point, putting it in the "Rule of Thirds" or even balance it with symmetry or asymmetry.
