Walk a lovely 1hr 30mins stroll, along the sea front away from the pier - at the Marina, take the Undercliff Walk along the promenade. There's a great little tea shop on the prom about 2/3 of the way.

Cycle 30-40 mins, pick up BTN Bikeshare bike at the top of St James's Street. BTN Bikeshare hub to drop of at Rottingdean.

Bus 20 mins, take Bus number 12, 12A, 12X or 27 from the Bedford Street South stop, turn left on the seafront. Buses approx every 10 mins - from 7am until 11.30pm.

Taxi 10 mins, order a taxi on 01273 256300. Typically would cost around £12-15

Car You can drive to Rottingdean, but parking is very limited, especially on busy days. It's much better to walk or take public transport. We like to walk there and get the bus back.
