Step 1: Access the Functional Location Module

Navigate to the main side menu and click on 10. Maintenance.
Expand the 10.4 Fixed Asset Setup folder.
Select 10.4.2 Functional Location.
Step 2: Create a New Functional Location
Step 2: Create a New Functional Location
Click the New Record button in the top toolbar to open a blank entry form.
Fill in the Functional Location Info section:
F.L. ID: Enter a unique short code for the location (e.g., "BVS" for Buenavista Substation).
Functional Location: Provide the full descriptive name of the location.
Parent F.L. ID: If this location is a sub-area of an existing one, select the Parent F.L. ID from the dropdown menu.
Remarks: Add any additional notes regarding the location.
Active Checkbox: Ensure this is ticked so the location is available during asset registration.
Step 3: Enter Location Address (Optional)

Provide specific geographic details in the Functional Location Address section:
Street, Barangay, City, Province, Country, and Zip Code.
These details help in precise asset tracking and reporting across different regions.
Step 4: Save and Finalize

Review all information for accuracy.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
You can click Add New to immediately register another location or Reset to clear your current unsaved inputs.
