Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.
Let's hear it for ...
Ocean Lund (Ortlieb), Maddie Lucin (Lawrence), Madeline Valverde (Wong), Lily Rocovitz-Canderloh (Hoffman), Cole Curtis (Leonard), Robyn Barajas (Gonzalez), Phillip Cohen (Blankenship), Haylie Stevenson (Ramos), Henry Tran (Garcia), Kesler Richards (Fano), Jackson Litvinchuk (Kiblinger), Camilla Chavez (Hanna), Emma Hwang (Gill), Emery Ngo (Seitz), Bailey Koh (Marasco), Christie Tran (Amaya), Shane Looney (Pipkin), Bennett Guardardo (Simmons 5th), Levi Faber (6th Cruz/Simmons)

The theme this year is "I Belong!" You can read more about entry requirements and guidelines here: https://pylucpta.org/reflections-students. Across Wagner, many of our upper grade classes are partnered with a younger class. These Big and Little Buddies come together throughout the year to work together. This gives everybody a chance to connect across campus and gives our older students leadership skill exercise. Here are a few pics from Mrs. Ramos and Ms. Pipkin's classes from last Friday!
Our second graders have made some predictions about plant growth in their classrooms. Now they're testing them out on pea plants. Here are a few pictures from Mrs. Fano's class!
The fourth graders have been deep diving into research about Abraham Lincoln and are now working on essays to explain their learning. Here are a few students in action from Mrs. Seitz's class as well as charts the students made in both classes!
