Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.
Note: If your student has dietary preferences that conflict with donuts, let me know and we have some alternatives.
Let's hear it for ...

November 7th!
Show your flyer and mention you're with Wagner!
Every Veteran's Day, Wagner stops to honor those who have served our country and are connected to our Wagner community. Wagner Elementary students and teachers would like to honor the veterans in our lives through a wall of honor. You are invited to add a paper brick for any special veteran or serviceperson (alive or deceased). You can color it if you wish.
Please click here for more information.
Please click the link below for a printable version of the bricks. Printed copies will also be available in the office.
Mrs. Ramos's class takes the lead! We're all winners with jog-a-thon fundraising. It's our biggest fundraiser of the year and the kids have a great time.
We've raised $24,000 of our $50,000 goal!
Please register at Pledgestar to raise donations and to see how your class is doing here!

Thank you so much for your help ensuring our parking lots are smooth and SAFE for our students, families, staff, and volunteers!
This includes:
Not parking in the front parking lot in the mornings
Utilizing the cross walk for crossing the lot
Keeping the morning valet smooth by not getting out of your car
Utilizing back gate drop off if you need to park and walk
For our back gate, please also observe all appropriate parking and driving rules for the road.
This includes:
Driving at an appropriate speed
Parking correctly
No blocking into the intersection, for example.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership!
A sincere thank you to all of our families who came to volunteer this week! I saw so many come to support classroom celebrations, classroom learning activities, and more! You are appreciated and a part of what makes us strong - our tight knit community!
Our 6th graders have been gearing up and got to participate in Walk Through The Ancient World today! They had fun showing their skills and putting together the history concepts they've been learning about, and will continue learning about, this year. Thank you to PTA for funding this experience!
Our lives are better when we live healthier choices. Wagner students have lives of possibility ahead of them, and Red Ribbon Week seeks to remind students that they can make healthy choices and work towards goals.
Students across campus celebrated some fall and Halloween fun! Check out a few snaps!
Mrs. Pipkin's 5th graders are deep diving into their learning and showing it in their writing. They are required to use sources to support their ideas and explain their thinking about their learning. Here they are working with partners to get feedback on their writing.
We participate in Harvest of the Month! In this program, samples of different fruit are sent from a local farm, to the district, to the classrooms. Students learn about the fruit and the farm and then get to taste it. This month was dragonfruit!
