Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.

All of Wagner Elementary came together on Thursday to recognize Patriot Day. Patriot Day is observed every year on September 11th to remember the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It is also known as a national day of service and remembrance - encouraging all of us to take time to serve others and share kindness on this day.
Thank you to the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Wagner Elementary for leading us in a flag ceremony, the pledge of allegieance, and a moment of silence.
It's always a great feeling when you find a just right book! 2nd Graders enjoyed their books together.
Students in Mr. B's class learned about how to be kind to one another in class and outside of class. They created their kindness pages to cap off the day.
The PYLUSD board room looked a little brighter this week! Art from Ms. Pipkin's 5th grade class is being displayed in the board room along with several other classrooms from across the district. Her class's work is the beautiful fall trees!
