Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.
Note: If your student has dietary preferences that conflict with donuts, let me know and we have some alternatives.
Let's hear it for ...
Beck Campbell (Ortlieb), Annie Fraley (Lawrence), Xavier Gage (Wong), Elizabeth Runge (Hoffman), Abby Herrick (Leonard), Evan Albaugh (Blankenship), Oliver Downie (Ramos), Jaslyn Gonzalez (Garcia), Matthew Escobedo (Fano), Dylan Park (Kiblinger), Hank Faber (Hanna), Lucy Ng (Gill), Brixton Jacobs (Seitz), Avery Whang (Marasco), Charlotte Cook (Amaya), Oliver Scott (5th - Simmons/Cruz), Davin Janicki (6th - Cruz/Simmons)
Wow! We had one of our best attendance days ever on Tuesday and a great week overall! Thank you for sending your wildcats to school (if they are well enough to participate in school and have no fever of course).
As the seasons change, please remember that these are the things that should keep your child home sick.
Fever of 100.4 or greater within 24 hours
Vomiting 2 or more times in the last 24 hours.
Diarrhea where they are not going to make it to the bathroom comfortably
Rash with blisters or draining
Cough that is causing trouble breathing, or fever with cough, or so persistent they will not be able to participate in the day
If your child is not able to participate in their class due to illness
Otherwise, we'll take them!
Your child is important in their class. Thank you!
It's our November restaurant night and it's at CHUCK E CHEESE! Please remember to show the flyer and/or mention you're with Wagner! I'll be there around 4:30 and hope to see you there!
Mrs. Ramos's class takes the lead! We're all winners with jog-a-thon fundraising. It's our biggest fundraiser of the year and the kids have a great time.
We've raised $38,000 of our $50,000 goal!
Please register at Pledgestar to raise donations and to see how your class is doing here!

Jog-A-Thon Schedule
You are invited to come and cheer on your runner. Please use the back gate closest to Wagner Park on Trumpet Ave. Please stay in the jog-a-thon area. Please remember to not take your child out with you unless you check them out in the office first. Thank you!
Each year, Mrs. Seitz uses information and pictures sent in by staff and families to build onto the Wall of Honor. This wall grows each year and honors and celebrates veterans connected to the Wagner community.
Students at Wagner love to help out in their community. These kinders were snapped all trying to help out Mr. Louie at once.
The Girl Scouts of Wagner helped our school kick off Red Ribbon Week with campus decorations! Students gave up weekend time to make this happen and are very appreciated!
Sometimes it's just fun to have fun. Here are some pics from crazy hair day!
Keep saving those Cub Cash cards! Our prize cart has been updated with new prizes! Thank you, PTA for supporting Wagner! If you have any fun items you think our students might like to earn towards, feel free to send them in. An example would be leftover party favors :)
First graders build their number sense and mathematical reasoning by exploring counting collections. Students are tasked with figuring out how to efficiently break down numbers and explain their reasoning.
