Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.
Note: If your student has dietary preferences that conflict with donuts, let me know and we have some alternatives.

Our TK students have been reading a book called Friendship salad and now they got to make their own!
Our second graders worked hard to learn all about chosen animals. They stretched their research skills, created reports, and shared them with eager first graders!
Learning happens inside and outside of the classroom! 3rd grade students went to Bradford House this week. Thanks to PTA for funding our field trip!
Students in 6th grade and many of our 5th graders participated in their first business day of the year! Students participate in a full classroom economy. They have jobs that earn money and can create businesses that sell goods and services. Some students decide to work for classmates' businesses while some decide to create their own. Students can also spend their class currency in the stores set up by their peers. It's a loved and beneficial experience!
