Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.
Note: If your student has dietary preferences that conflict with donuts, let me know and we have some alternatives.
Let's hear it for ...
Danyelle Aguilar Ramos (Ortlieb), Maddie Lucin (Lawrence), Pearl Wallace (Wong), Rylee Chanez (Hoffman), Koa Huynh (Leonard), Ellie Lu Elliot (Blankenship), Hudson Siegmann (Ramos), Muhammad Sjamsuddin (Garcia), Ellie Tian (Fano), Tenee Hammortree (Kiblinger), Colette Collins (Gill), Theodore Pham (Seitz), Logan Ortiz (Marasco), Ellie Portillo (Amaya), Paige Uyeno (Pipkin), Isaiah Montalvo (Simmons/Cruz), Logan Jimenez (Cruz/Simmons)
PYLUSD is having a friendly competition between the schools for the month of February! Wagner has been paired with a few of our fellow schools.
Our attendance for February 2025 was 95.2%. How much can we improve our attendance to help bring the cup home to Wagner?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our average daily attendance for this week was 95.7%!
That's half a percent higher than last year and represents about 2 more students here each day this week over February 2025!
Not only does that mean more students are learning each day, but also experiencing our community each day. Win for us!
Will it be enough for us to take the district win?
It's that time again! Each year, PYLUSD sends out surveys to all of our families. We look at the results as a district, BUT we also look at it as a school site. At Wagner, we care what you think.
Individually, we read and consider every single comment. We also look for trends so that we are building on where we are strong and growing where we need to take next steps. This works best with as many responses as possible. Please help!
Note, must order through the app and use code CFA2025 for us to get credit. Thank you!
PTA is still looking for each grade to donate one raffle basket!
Help support our school and create a fun night for Wagner families. Raffle tickets will be given for each item donated!
