Each week, teachers identify a student as the WOW student of the week. These students are highlighted for going above and beyond in some area. Teachers share the reason with the class. Each student gets a certificate, a coupon for a free donut from Donut Chain and has their picture shared in the flyer.

Big Wagner welcome to our new school counselor, Mrs. Larson! Mrs. Larson will be with us on Mondays and will support students individually and in small groups. We're glad she's here and look forward to her working with our wildcats.
Big Wagner welcome to our Outreach Concern Counselor. We partner with Outreach Concern each year. Ms. Park is here as a part of this partnership and will be helping mostly with social emotional learning groups, some individual counseling, and counseling based activities.
We're at 136 and our goal is 250! We can do it!
PTA is an important part of the Wagner community. PTA fundraises to provide classroom supplies, field trips, assemblies, recess equipment, and more! PTA volunteers make many memorable events possible for our children.
Membership dues are just $15 a year!

It's time to get started on Reflections art submissions! The theme this year is "I Belong!" You can read more about entry requirements and guidelines here: https://pylucpta.org/reflections-students.
Our Constitution turns 237 years old this year! Students learned about our Constitution in their classes and some participated in additional events around campus. Our fifth graders came over to TK to help them learn about the flag and read together and preschool created a flag together.
Wagner is very proud of it's Kindness Crew. Kindness Crew is a group of dedicated students and teachers who work to make sure all students are included and have fun and friends at Wagner. They help us with school posters, run activities at recess, and make a positive impact every day at Wagner. Today was the information meeting for students and WOW it was a great turn out!
TK students practice their social skills every single day, and this is definitely on display at recess! Students play with together, take turns, and try new things. Check out our TKers in action!
Second graders are learning all about community helpers. How lucky we are that Officer Whang (who also happens to be the dad to two of our wonderful wildcats) came to visit the second grade and speak all about being a police officer.
Students worked hard all week and paused to enjoy a little Fun Friday together. It's just one of the ways that Mr. B builds community in his class.
