Marketing in the US - Stats and Facts
The United States is an emblematic economy for the global marketing industry. In 2023, marketing spending in the U.S. surpassed half a trillion U.S. dollars, around one-third of revenues worldwide. The annual growth of approximately five percent followed the global average. Meanwhile, expenditures accounted for a slightly larger share of U.S. companies' revenues compared to their competitors across North America and Europe. That probably reflects a more stable perception of the U.S. market as a source of new business for the ad, marketing, and public relations (PR) segments compared to the previous year. The share of surveyed executives expecting new opportunities to become scarce slightly decreased.
