About Sammy

Sammy is a third-year student at Penn State University Park majoring in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is minoring in Sustainability Leadership, Psychology, and Art. During summer 2023, Sammy studied abroad in Sweden through our DIS: Summer in Scandinavia program.

Sammy's Education Abroad Experience

"Highlights of my trip included studying sustainability in one of the most sustainable cities, learning advanced photography skills, celebrating Midsommar, creating new friendships, and visiting Croatia.

I was surprised by how much I flourished living in a foreign city alone.

I have always been interested in sustainability and inspiring others to care about the Earth’s health, so this trip opened my eyes to what works in different countries."
