Minor: International Business, French and Francophone Studies

About Celeste: Celeste participated in the CIEE: Seoul program, where she spent her fall 2023 semester at Yonsei University in South Korea. Her coursework abroad was primarily centered on Korean culture, language, history, media, and more. She shares that her primary goal in studying abroad was to broaden her worldview and deepen her understanding of lifestyle and business in Asia, extending insight into her International Business minor. While in Korea, Celeste also explored beyond the city center, venturing to Gangneung and Mungyeong. In Mungyeong, renowned for its exquisite pottery, Celeste even had the chance to try the traditional pottery spin wheel and craft a clay bowl. She wrapped up her semester in Korea with a trip to Busan.

Advice to Prospective Education Abroad Students: If you're still on the fence about studying abroad, start by identifying your goals for the study abroad program – whether they are academic or personal goals. After participating in two study abroad programs, I can say that studying abroad is definitely one of the major highlights of my college career, and I hope to help any students who are interested in learning more about the opportunities Penn State offers!
