Major: Mechanical Engineering

Minor: Entrepreneurship and Innovation

About Matthew: Matt spent the summer of 2023 studying at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He took part in a three-week-long course about the fundamentals of product development within the university's world-renowned College of Engineering. Matt's main goal for his study abroad experience was to improve his knowledge of product development and learn more about designing for global markets. Another very prominent factor in his decision to study abroad was that he wanted to improve his global insight and learn more about different cultures, something the country of Singapore certainly provides. Matt says his favorite memory from Singapore was when he was able to go to the top of the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel. He chose to become a peer advisor because he feels passionate about helping others that were in the same position as him prior to his study abroad experience.
