Teacher/Staff Bios

Vera Herrera has been working in special education for 22 years. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern New Mexico University, and her Master's in Special Education from New Mexico State University.  She is also licensed as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments. Mrs. Herrera, is currently in her fourth year at Lindsey Steiner, and her ninth year with Portales School District.
