Studying Design and Technology will enable students to have an impact on our Global community and the everyday day lives of all. We aim to develop students into creative innovators who are able to solve real world problems. Failures and mistakes are an essential part of the process where the students resilience and willingness to try again is rewarded.
At TPS students will work in a range of different material areas where they develop their understanding of manufacturing and material properties. They are expected to identify and solve design problems in scenarios often unfamiliar to them.
Within Design and Technology students will also get the opportunity to work in Cooking and Nutrition , where we aim to develop their ability to cook healthy meals in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Within Design and Technology we offer/ accommodate a range of different clubs. Some of the clubs run for a term, others for longer.
The clubs that we offer are:

Create Club for Years 7 and 8
