Welcome to the Religion, Philosophy and Ethics department!
Religion, Philosophy and Ethics is a rigorous academic subject which both equips students with knowledge and allows them to explore humanity itself. The course incorporates many aspects of critical thinking such as reasoning and the ability to construct and analyse arguments.
Students will study a range of religions from across the world, whilst also exploring non-religious views. The subject involves discussion of the big life questions whilst Ethics is the study of right and wrong, looking at a number of contemporary social and world issues. It is also an opportunity to voice your own opinions in a constructive way!
