Music

The Music Department offers a range of clubs and opportunities for students to perform both in The Studio and at events in the local area.

• Extra curricular clubs- choirs, string group, wind band, jazz band, brass band, rock club, House band, student bands, music tech club, music theory club

• Instrumental lessons- strings, brass, piano, woodwind, drums, voice, guitar

• Future DJ’s- DJ lessons and workshops

• Performances- School concerts, Community performances, Carol concert, Music Festivals, Whole-School Musical

• FE/College- Visits to local colleges, workshops, orchestral performances with BSO

• Community Outreach- Student- led performances at local primaries, Student groups at dementia outreach, community performances at local hospital, Christmas party for the elderly.
