This term started off with Clean Up Hatfield, where numerous students walked around our local community at lunchtimes to clean up our local area. It’s also been so exciting taking part in the Christmas Food Box challenge - designing a Christmas themed box whilst also filling it with food to give to Hatfield Foodbank has been a fun part of form times these past few weeks. My favourite part of the Food Box challenge is delivering the food and seeing the smiles on the face was very rewarding.
One of my personal highlights of this term was a chemistry practical I did where we made a Silver Mirror in a big round bottom flask as we had to differentiate between an Aldehyde and a Ketone. I’ve also had a range of different interviews and received an offer for Pharmacy. Next term is looking promising as we have our Children’s Mental Health Week coming up and a few fundraisers to raise money for our chosen charities.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
