Summary

Below are the various drivers required to be able to transfer files to the Amiga.

CFD

The CFD drivers allows you to use Compact Flash cards in the PCMCIA slot.

Download it from Aminet at:

http://aminet.net/driver/media/CFD133.lha

Extract the CFD133.lha file and copy the CFD133/DEVS/compactflash.device file to Devs: on your Amiga:

Devs:compactflash.device

Also, copy CFD133/DEVS/CF0 and CFD133/DEVS/CF0.info to Devs:DosDrivers on your Amiga:

Devs:DosDrivers/CF0

Devs:DosDrivers/CF0.info

FAT95

The FAT95 drivers allows you to use FAT16 or FAT32 formatted Compact Flash cards.

Download it from Aminet at:

http://aminet.net/disk/misc/fat95.lha

Extract the fat95.lha file and copy the fat95/l/fat95 file to L: on your Amiga:

L:fat95

CardReset/CardPatch (A1200, <Kickstart 3.1.4 only)

This is only  applicable to A1200's with Kickstarts lower than 3.1.4 - i.e. Kickstart 3.0/3.1/3.X

On the Amiga 1200, there is a hardware bug in Gayle that means the CC_RESET reset signal is not asserted on the PCMCIA slot. CardReset and CardPatch provides a software level reset.

Download them from Aminet at:

http://aminet.net/util/boot/CardPatch.lha

http://aminet.net/util/boot/CardReset.lha

Copy the CardReset and CardPatch files to C:

The S:Startup-Sequence file needs to be updated to include the following commands before LoadWB:

C:CardPatch

Run >NIL: C:CardReset TICKS 50

CrossDOS (Workbench 2.0 and above)

This is optional, if you want to use 720K PC formatted floppy disks.

CrossDOS allows you to use 720K PC formatted floppy disks. The driver files can be found in the Workbench (2.0 and above) EXTRAS and STORAGE disks.

Copy the EXTRAS:L/CrossDOSFileSystem file to L:

For each drive (DF0, DF1) you want CrossDOS to work on, copy the appropriate DOS Driver file from STORAGE:DosDrivers to Devs:DosDrivers

For example, for DF0, copy:

STORAGE:DosDrivers/PC0

STORAGE:DosDrivers/PC0.info

to

Devs:DosDrivers/PC0

Devs:DosDrivers/PC0.info

For DF1 and DF2, you will have to create the PC1 and PC2 files respectively, using the PC0 or PC1 file as a template.
