Galahad's Kickstart 1.4a ROM has some features to allow for better compatibility:
On the Kickstart screen:
Left Mouse Button : - Disable ALL detected Cache types
Right Mouse Button : - NTSC/PAL
Memory Degradation
Relokick 1.4a will degrade the kicked machine memory to:
If your machine has 2M Chip only -> 1.5MB Chip Ram
If your machine has 2MB Chip and 4MB Fast (or more) -> 2MB Chip Ram:

Memory Degradation
The TUDE KICKSTART1.3 option will degrade the kicked machine memory to:
If your machine has 2M Chip only -> 1.68MB Chip Ram
If your machine has 2MB Chip and 4MB Fast -> 2MB Chip + 3.68MB Fast Ram:
If your machine has 2MB Chip and 8MB Fast -> 2MB Chip + 7.68MB Fast Ram:
To degrade the memory to other configurations, use TUDEGUI to customise the memory degradation.

DEGRADE - will automatically choose best options - i.e. CACHES-NONE, PRIVILEDGE

Tips
The Kickstart 1.3 ROM file needs to be placed at:

Boot the degrader disk in an external drive on DF1. When the degrader kicks in and reboots in to Kickstart 1.3, the degrader disk in DF1 will not boot up, as Kickstart 1.3 only supports booting on DF0.
Convert the degrader boot disk to using FFS (Fast File System) instead of OFS (Original File System) AmigaDOS disk format. Kickstart 1.3 only supports OFS so an FFS disk in DF0 will not boot.
TUDE ABS
TUDE ABS is a degrader boot disk that makes use of abs (Amiga Boot Selector) to select and launch TUDE or TUDEGUI.
