This is effectively how you connect the Amiga to a terminal console on your PC:

DIY Female DB25 to Female DB9 Null Modem Adapter
The adapter will have two functions:
Convert to Amiga Male DB25 serial port to a Female DB9 serial port
Wired up for Null Modem connections
You will need a Female DB25 connector and a Female DB9 connector.
You only need connect 3 wires:
Signal Ground (GND)
Transmit (TX)
Receive (RX)
The Transmit and and Receive needs to be crossed over.
The diagram below shows the pinouts and connections from the rear of the connectors.
