Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
It is hard to believe that today is the last day of September, and we are already 6 weeks into the school year! As the weather starts to turn cooler, please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Classes go out for recess unless it is raining or the wind chill is below 20 degrees.
PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) is well underway with students earning "Bulldog Bucks" for displaying kind, respectful, responsible, and safe behavior. Several Bulldog Bucks are pulled throughout the week and read aloud on the morning show. These students receive a visit from the Woo Woo Wagon! Teachers also nominate one student a week for the "Bulldog Best Award". These students get their picture taken for the front bulletin board and get to select a book from the book vending machine. Our new word of the month for October is "Integrity". Students will be learning about what this word means and how to display integrity.
The Falls-Lenox & Early Childhood Center PTA has kicked of the Fall fundraiser with Charleston Wrap®, and we appreciate your support! Below, you'll find a flyer with detailed instructions about how you can register online and support their goals. Orders are online only this year and the fundraiser ends October 11th. Don't want to participate in the fundraiser and would just rather donate instead? We have that option too! Click here to make a one time donation and see the information in the attached letter as well. Contact PTA with any questions at christabpta@gmail.com or FLECCPTA.Board@gmail.com. School fees have now been posted to your child's EZ Pay account. The fee breakdown can be found below in this newsletter. To pay your child's school fees, please visit www.ofcs.net and click on the EZ Pay tab on the left side of the page. You can also send a check in with your child made out to "Falls-Lenox Primary School". Your child will then bring home a receipt from the office. School fees must be paid in order for your child to attend school sponsored field trips.
I encourage you to check out the "Community Connections" section of this newsletter located on the left side of the page (from your phone, click on the three lines located in the upper left corner of the newsletter to see the drop down tabs). It is updated regularly with community fliers.
If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact our main office at (440) 427-6400. Thank you to all of our families for all of your support and for a great week!

"Pawsitive" Peer Group- Student Feedback
We value our students' voices and seek their input. We held our first "Pawsitive Peer Group" last Friday. Teachers select a student for the group, and they meet wtih Ms. Williams and Mrs. DeLuca, along with a couple members of our PBIS Team. We ask our students questions about PBIS and their classrooms, in order to learn more about what is going well and what we need to improve upon. We will be holding these meetings monthly with a different group of students each month! Please see below for the names of participants and notes from this month's meeting:
