Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
It was great to see so many smiles this morning as students entered the building! The students look great for picture day! I encourage you to check out the "Community Connections" section of this newsletter located on the left side of the page (from your phone, click on the three lines located in the upper left corner of the newsletter to see the drop down tabs). It is updated regularly with community fliers.
The Falls-Lenox & Early Childhood Center PTA has kicked of the Fall fundraiser with Charleston Wrap®, and we appreciate your support! Below, you'll find a flyer with detailed instructions about how you can register online and support thier goals. Orders are online only this year and the fundraiser ends October 11th. Collect orders from your family and friends and simply input online to have it shipped directly to your home - or- share the information in the attached flyer with friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. They can order online and have it shipped to their own home! No pickup necessary. Don't want to participate in the fundraiser and would just rather donate instead? We have that option too! Click here to make a one time donation and see the information in the attached letter as well. Contact PTA with any questions at christabpta@gmail.com or FLECCPTA.Board@gmail.com. Please click HERE to join PTA! The classroom with the most members by the end of September, will win extra recess and popsicles with Mrs. Carey and Ms. Williams! Our first ECC/FL PTA Meeting is Tuesday, September 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Falls-Lenox Cafeteria. Title One Parent Open House will be prior to this meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Falls-Lenox media center.
Mrs. Scott, School Psychologist, will be conducting a Start with Hello classroom guidance lesson in all first-grade classrooms during the last week of September. Start With Hello is a free program with activities that teach in a developmentally appropriate way how to reach out to and include others as well as to create a culture of inclusion and connectedness within their school or youth organization. These concepts will also be introduced to the other grade levels through the morning show on Mondays for the following month.
School fees have now been posted to your child's EZ Pay account. The fee breakdown can be found below in this newsletter. To pay your child's school fees, please visit www.ofcs.net and click on the EZ Pay tab on the left side of the page. You can also send a check in with your child made out to "Falls-Lenox Primary School". Your child will then bring home a receipt from the office. School fees must be paid in order for your child to attend school sponsored field trips.
