January 6, 2023
Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a wonderful winter break. It has been great to see the students back this week! As we move into January, teachers will be completing winter DRA's (developmental reading assessments) with each student. Starting next week, students will also be taking the MAP Test for Reading and Math. Both the DRA and MAP Test provide our teachers with valuable information on the achievement and growth of each student. We use this information to provide targeted, small group intervention and inform classroom instruction. Results of these assessments will be sent home to families once they are completed.
Looking to have your child participate in extra physical activity and make new friends this winter? Does your child love jumping rope or just want to learn something new? Jump Rope Club will be starting at Falls-Lenox! This club is available for 2nd and 3rd graders and will meet Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school from 2:45-3:45. Space is limited, so please fill out the sign up form ASAP if you are interested. RSVP's are due by January 11th. Any questions, please email Libby Wallo at ewallo@ofcs.net.

Some questions you can answer in your video include: What holiday do you celebrate? When does the holiday take place? How do you celebrate? What traditions do you take part in during the holiday?
Congratulations Students!
