Falls-Lenox Primary School News

March 24, 2023
Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
Thank you to the parents who participated in our Third Grade Career Day today. We appreciate you taking time out of your day to talk with our students! A special thank you to Mrs. DeLuca, our school counselor, for organizing this event for our third grade students!
As we head into spring, all grade levels will be attending field trips. Dates for these field trips are now posted below. District-wide, school fees must be paid prior to the field trips dates below in order for students to attend the field trip. To pay your child's school fees, please visit www.ofcs.net, or call our main office at 440-427-6402. If you would like to talk with me personally about your child's school fees, please contact me at 440-427-6401 or lwilliams@ofcs.net.
We are beginning to plan for the 23-24 school year. Due to our thorough placement process, we will not be taking requests for specific teachers. Our team puts a lot of time and thought into the placement for each individual child. As a team, we look at academics, social skills, friendships, personality, and other factors to dermine the best placement for each child. We take this very seriously and do our absolute best to place each child in a classroom that we feel is best suited for that child. If you have information about your child that will assist us in placement (characteristics of a teacher that would be a good fit), please email me at lwilliams@ofcs.net.
If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact our main office at (440) 427-6400. Thank you to all of our families for all of your support and for a great week!

Olmsted Works Community Job Fair ~ April 4, 2023
Mark your calendar! The second annual "OLMSTED WORK$!" Community Job Fair is on April 4, 2023. This event will take place at OFHS in the main gym and we hope you might be able to help us spread the word to your family, friends and neighbors! The fair is open to both OFHS students and community members from 2:45 PM - 4:15 PM on April 4th. The list of employers scheduled to attend is growing by the day, with full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities available. Last years’ fair hosted over 70 area employers.
This fair is a great opportunity for students to practice their interview skills, and to get comfortable asking and answering questions of potential employers. There is no experience required to attend the fair and to see what job opportunities exist in the community for the summer- and beyond! The "OLMSTED WORK$!" Community Job Fair is also a great place for local community members to connect with local employers and explore job opportunities.
This event is FREE and is hosted by the Olmsted Falls High School Guidance Department for the benefit of OFHS students, families, and our community!
Do you know an area business who would like to participate? Share our registration link
Anyone with questions about the fair may contact Mrs. Caldrone acaldrone@ofcs.net or Mr. Rivera crivera@ofcs.net in OFHS Guidance.
