Falls-Lenox Primary School News

November 4, 2022

Dear Falls-Lenox Families,

Thank you to all of our families who joined us last night for Wellness Night!  We hope you enjoyed learning about the "Zones of Regulation", calming strategies, and spending quality time with your child.  If you weren't able to make it, we will be sending out resources.   Students have enjoyed the beautiful weather this week, as our new playground is completed and has opened!  In addition to phase two of the playground, we were able to get eight new swings in that area as well!

Next week there is NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 8th due to Election Day.  This is a district professional development day for staff. The focus for our staff day will be on student wellness and safety.  Also next week, third grade classes will be attending a field trip to Severance Hall to see the Cleveland Orchestra perform (Nov. 9th or 10th)!  We are very excited to be able to provide this amazing opportunity for our third graders!  The end of the first trimester is Friday, November 11th.  Report cards will go home on Wednesday, November 16th.

Our Veteran's Day Program will take place on Friday, November 11th.  We ask that veterans arrive at 8:00 a.m.  The program will be outside at the flagpole starting at 8:15 a.m. If it rains, the program will be moved inside to the Falls Gym.   Falls-Lenox students are invited to have a veteran in their life attend the program.  A letter with RSVP went home with your child.  A copy of the letter and RSVP is attached to this newsletter below as well.

We are having a Falls-Lenox Ryco Spirit Wear sale.  This is building fundraiser and proceeds will go to Falls-Lenox primary school. The link to purchase spirit wear from Ryco can be found below or linked HERE.  Orders placed by November 21st, will be ready by December 15th.

I encourage you to check out the "Community Connections" section of this newsletter located on the left side of the page. It is updated regularly with community fliers.  If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact our main office at (440) 427-6400. Thank you to all of our families for all of your support and for a great week!

Sincerely,

Ms. Lisa M. Williams
