The events that we have been collectively experiencing have had adverse economic, social, and emotional effects. This is particularly true for our students. Trauma-informed pedagogy explains how trauma can impact our students and offers strategies for how to help our students navigate these turbulent waters.
The Silver School of Social Work was founded in 1960, and its students currently provide approximately 650,000 hours of service to vulnerable individuals and families each year.
