Activate NYU Classes

Finger pushing button.

Activating your NYU Classes course site

During remote instruction, NYU Classes becomes the bedrock tool for sharing course content, accepting assignments, and communicating with students between Zoom sessions. Before you can build a course site, you must activate it first using these four quick steps.

Note: Course sites are not created automatically. If you would like remote instruction sites for any of your courses, you must create them each semester.

Fun fact.

While a student dressed as a violet served as the school mascot for a brief time in the 1980s, it was decided that the flower did not instill great awe or foreboding in NYU’s opponents. A new mascot was conceived from the name of the Bobst Library card catalog, or Bobst Catalog. Today, the Bobcat mascot symbolizes both NYU’s academic and athletic traditions.
