What comes first: Technology or Pedagogy? The answer to this question has been debated for decades, but at NYU SPS we believe that technology only enhances strong pedagogy. Step 1 lays the technological foundation and vocabulary for tools that will be addressed later in this toolkit. The two foundational tools to be addressed in this step are NYU Classes and Zoom.
Note: Once you feel comfortable with the two foundations, we will explore the Google Suite, PollEverywhere, and others.
NYU recently earned their first Northeast Regional Championship Honors in the Collegiate Division of US Quidditch (USQ), beating Tufts University Tufflepuffs in the collegiate championship match 180*-100. 16 collegiate teams participated in the tournament, which took place at Bend Street Field Complex in Warwick, Rhode Island on October 26-27, 2020.
