The unified flag football had their opening game on Aug. 30 at Greenwood Community High School. The team captains for the game were Gabby Aders and Tyler Rumble. The team brought home a win, 21-7. It was a great start to the season.
The team is now 4-2 for the season, winning their last home game on Sept. 15 against Perry Meridian. Sectionals will be at Mooresville on Oct. 1.

On Oct. 1, the unified flag football team went to Mooresville High School for the first round of sectionals. Unfortunately, their season ended after a loss to Martinsville in the first round. If you want to play a unified sport, email Mrs. Hogue about joining the Champions Together Club or Unified Track in the spring.
