Are you ready for the next staff? This staff member went to school to take on a career in music business and has a minor in vocal performance. After graduation, they worked as a pharmacy technician where they were able to train people and found their interest in teaching. After completing a Transition to Teaching program, the staff member began teaching high school English and says, “I’ve never looked back.”

Let’s go to some of the more fun and simple questions! This staff member has two dogs named Liam and Gentry. They enjoy puzzles and music, which sounds like calm and fun activities! Their interesting fact is that they are scared of grasshoppers and have four semi-professionally recorded songs available on YouTube. Who would have known! This staff member also loves the color yellow, a color that stands for optimism, joy, and friendship, which suits this staff member well due to their kind and friendly nature. Who would have known! This lovely staff member has an interest in arts and crafts, including sewing and woodworking. They have a dog named Jack; two cats, Walter and Archie; a gecko named Rocky; as well as a rabbit named Bugsy.

They found their way to the teaching profession from finding out about family and consumer sciences in their junior year of college (their high school didn’t have a program for it!). Their original plan was to go into interior design, but they soon realized they belonged in FACS.

This staff member reports they are a big fan of chocolate and coffee. “All day everyday,” they said. This staff member also completed two years of nursing school, they love to play with power tools, and they aren’t from America—they’re British!
